Vladimir Coufal
Loved this interview with him on the OS.

Intelligence, humour and humility. And, perhaps, the makings of a future manager?

Re: Vladimir Coufal
We’ve had a bit of a dearth of decent right backs in the premier league really;

Breaker - average but liked
Schemmel - brilliant for one season
Repka - alright at times but prone to rash moments
O’Brien - average
Johnson - could have been great if we had for longer
Neill - decent but short stay

Demel, Charles, Jones, Fredericks, Scaloni

No really standout players

Re: Vladimir Coufal

Jfk

I agree with you completely. We idolise defenders/goalkeepers from the past, but the truth is they made the same mistakes as the ones now. We just didn’t see every mistake analysed from loads of different angles all day long, then highlighted all over social media for everyone to slate.

Re: Vladimir Coufal
I loved Tonka very competitive, versatile could play centre half and midfield and of course rarely missed from the penalty spot, iice cool. Vlad certainly could be as good if not better, top player and probably my favourite at the mo.

Only Rice edges Coufal for me for Hammer of the Year.
Great problem to have as plenty are in the mix for once

Re: Vladimir Coufal
It’s bollocks to compare him from players years ago thanks to cameras that pick faults from every angle.
He’s a great consistent player, not much gets passed him, works he’s bollocks off and deserves hammer of the year should it happen ,proper footballer.

Soucek is the more likely to become a manager in the future, just something about him

Re: Vladimir Coufal
That is a good interview, should learn to look at the camera. Really nice.
It was good with fans at West Brom, they appeared to make a lot of noise for what was it 6000? Maybe it just sounded loud after so long with no crowd. Sunday has to be massive. I am so envious of those that will go.

People visit the OS? You won't get me going onto that fucking site..that's how fucking edgy I am.

Never been into reading about players, what they have to say about the weather, what they have for breakfast, what dog they have etc, no interest. But I love Coufal, and by the time he's finished may go down as our best ever RB. Was never convinced Tonka was a great player, good yes, but not great. Lucas Neill is the best RB I've seen play for us.

I'm a HUGE fan of coufal.

How on earth did we get him for £5m

Can't think of a better right back in the premier league

Re: Vladimir Coufal
Tonka stated as a midfield player
ended up one the greats and is inbeded in our history .
As for Coufal he needs a standing ovation on Saturday everytime when he touches the ball.
Just love him to score on Saturday.
